General Information
PowerReplace can create small stand-alone daughter-application called “SelfReplace”, who makes your favorite conversion more easily and efficiently.

PowerReplace application:
PowerReplace needs the following elements to run:
  (1) PowerReplace application,
  (2) a filter file, and 
  (3) the preference file in which PowerReplace saves the last filter file used.

 










SelfReplace application:
A SelfReplace application works more simply. It is a self-contained application and has no menu, no dialog box, no option. What you have to do is just to drag and drop text file onto the application icon.

 










How to create SelfReplace application?
From the File menu, select Save As… . In the put file dialog box, choose the button "68K", "PPC", or "FAT" Self Replace. 

 


















◊ You can protect your filter by setting password in SelfReplace application. This password will be asked when extracting filter from SelfReplace application.

Extracting Filter from SelfReplace application
To extract filter from SelfReplace application, select Open Filter… from the File menu and choose your SelfReplace application. If the author of the SelfReplace application has set a password, you must enter this password when PowerReplace asks you.

Converting Clipboard using SelfReplace Application
To convert clipboard from SelfReplace application, open SelfReplace application under Finder by double-click. Then click the button "Convert Clipboard".
